NHL Postseason Caterwaul: Bruins blow away Hurricanes to reach Cup Final
Carolina can’t solve Tuukka Rask to extend season
Tuukka Rask made 24 saves and the Boston Bruins top line was unstoppable in a 4-0 series-ending win over the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh. Patrice Bergeron scored two goals and added an assist, David Pastrnak notched a goal and two assists and Brad Marchand lit the lamp and collected a helper. The Hurricanes only managed to beat Rask five times in the entire series and couldn't contain Boston’s power play, going out with a whimper after eliminating the Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals and the New York Islanders.
