Today at the World Junior Summer Showcase, Canada will take on Sweden at 1 p.m. while the United States will face Finland at 4 p.m. Both games will broadcast on NHL Network.
After shutting down the Finns on Wednesday, I seriously doubt that Spencer Knight will get the start today for the Americans. It’ll probably be Isaiah Seville or Dusti Wolf between the pipes. Perhaps we’ll see Knight again tomorrow in the final game against Canada.
Serron Noel scored twice against Finland yesterday, so perhaps he will be in the lineup again today for Canada. The Canadian brought a huge contingent of players, so it’s equally possible he too will sit and be back on Saturday.
