Monday Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Open Forum

The weekend passed quietly for the Florida Panthers, with the club making no further moves since signing defenseman Alex Petrovic to a one-year deal.

There was some action around the rest of the NHL, so let’s catch up on the last signings, starting with the biggest, the Vegas Golden Knights inking RFA defenseman Colin Miller to a new four-year, $15.5M deal. (Knights On Ice)

The Golden Knights also re-signed prospect goaltender Oscar Dansk to a two-year, $1.35M contract. Dansk appeared in four games with Vegas in 2017-18. (Knights on Ice)

Edmonton re-upped forward Ryan Strome to a two-year, $6.2M contract. Strome played in all 82 games and produced 34 points for the Oilers last season. (The Copper & Blue)

The Toronto Maple Leafs signed veteran UFA Tyler Ennis to a one-year, $650K deal. Ennis was recently bought out by Minnesota. (Pension Plan Puppets)

San Jose inked defenseman Dylan DeMelo to a two-year, $1.8M deal and signed Vladislav Kotkov to a three-year, entry-level contract. (Fear The Fin)

The St. Louis Blues came to terms with Dmitrij Jaskin (1 year, $1.1M); Oskar Sundqvist (1 year, $700K); and goaltender Jordan Binnington  (1 year, $650). (Bleedin’ Blue)

Colorado re-signed forward Matt Nieto to a two-year, $3.95M contract. Nieto scored a career-high 15 goals last season. (Mile High Hockey)

The Arizona Coyotes signed center Barrett  Hayton to a three-year, entry-level contract. Hayton was chosen with the fifth pick in the 2018 Entry Draft. (Arizona Sports)

The Philadelphia Flyers signed goaltender Alex Lyon to a two-year, $1.5M deal. The contract is two-way in year one and one-way in year two. (Broad Street Hockey)
