Weekend Offseason Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Open Forum

After a bit of a slumber there were three signings made on Friday, with the most notable involving a rival club from the Atlantic Division.

The Detroit Red Wings inked forward Dylan Larkin to five-year deal worth $30.5 million. The contract includes a No Trade Clause in the final year. Larkin rebounded from a down 2016-17 campaign with a career-high 63 points last season. (Winging It In Motown)

Forward Christian Dvorak signed a six-year, $26.7 million extension with the Arizona Coyotes. Dvorak totaled 37 points (15G/22A) in 78 games for the Coyotes in 2017-18. The new will kick in in 2019-20 after his entry-level contract comes to an end. (Five For Howling)

Former Florida Panthers farmhand Chase Balisy signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Ottawa Senators. Balisy put up 35 points in 67 games with the Springfield Thunderbirds and appeared in eight NHL games with the Panthers last season. (Ottawa Sun)
