The Florida Panthers will take on the Tampa Bay Lighting for the third and final time this preseason at 6 p.m. this evening at the BB&T Center. Look for the players who sat out Tuesday’s game to be in action and what will likely be the regular season lineup to roll tomorrow night in Montreal.
Speaking of the lineup, in case you missed it yesterday, forwards Jayce Hawryluk, Maxim Mamin and Sebastian Repo were assigned to the Springfield Thunderbirds, bringing the training roster down to 29 with goaltender Harri Sateri on borrowed time.
A couple of new entry-level deals to report: The Minnesota Wild came to a terms with undrafted free agent defenseman Brennan Menell and the Boston Bruins signed 2017 second-rounder Jack Studnicka.
