Thursday Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Open Forum

The Florida Panthers finished up a five-gamer road trip with a solid 2-2-1 record after coming back from two goal down to edge the lowly Arizona Coyotes by a 3-2 count on Tuesday night in Glendale.

Florida will open its annual holiday homestand on Friday night against the Minnesota Wild before facing Ottawa, Philadelphia and Montreal.

After the homestand, the Cats will embark on another five-game roadie and play eight of their 11 January games away from the BB&T Center.

This weekend, the Springfield Thunderbirds (12-18-1) will host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Friday and the Providence Bruins on Saturday at MassMutual Center.
