The Florida Panthers remain off before resuming game action against the Dallas Stars on Wednesday night at Amerant Bank Arena.

Florida will looking to snap a three-game losing streak on home ice when they host the Stars, who are currently in second place in the Central Division.

Dallas didn’t do the Cats any favors last night as they were blanked 4-0 by the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena, so both teams will be coming into the tilt off a loss.

The Panthers roster is back at 23 players after they recalled defenseman Uvis Balinskis after he scored a goal in his AHL debut with the Charlotte Checkers on Saturday.

In other Monday NHL games, the Philadelphia Flyers edged the Pittsburgh Penguins by a 2-1 count; the Montreal Canadiens doubled up the visiting Seattle Kraken 4-2; the Winnipeg Jets nipped the Carolina Hurricanes 2-1; the Arizona Coyotes blasted the Washington Capitals 6-0; and the St. Louis Blues posted a 2-1 overtime win over the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena.
