The NHL’s newest team, the Vegas Golden Knights, moved to 3-0 with an emotional 5-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes last night at T-Mobile Center in Las Vegas. Former Florida Panthers winger Reilly Smith registered an assist in the game.
Florida’s next opponent, the St. Louis Blues, took out the New York Rangers 3-1 in Madison Square Garden last night. The Blues are now a perfect 4-0 to open the season. They will provide the Cats with a stern test come tomorrow night.
