Cats' Kopecky sits during third period of Slovakia's comeback win over Slovenia.
The 2015 IIHF World Championship rolled on with four more opening round games yesterday, with just one involving a member of the Florida Panthers.
Slovakia 3, Slovenia 1: Captain Tomas Kopecky logged 9:34 of ice time during the first forty minutes of action before being benched the entire third period. The Cats forward finished with no points or shots on goal and an even rating. Andrej Meszaros and Marian Gaborik scored in the third to erase Slovenia's 1-0 lead. Gaborik scored a second goal, into an empty net, to clinch the win for the Slovaks. For more click here
