Former Florida Panthers left winger David Booth is going to training camp with the Detroit Red Wings on a professional tryout. Booth, 32, has played the last two seasons in the KHL. In 2016-17 with Omsk Avangard, the Detroit native had four goals and eight points in 19 games played.

Speaking of former Panthers, Tanner Glass will spend training camp north of the border with the Calgary Flames on a professional tryout. Glass, 33, played last season with the New York Rangers and their AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack.
The Vancouver Canucks have signed Ryan White to a professional tryout to attend training camp. White, 29, spent last season with the Arizona Coyotes and Minnesota Wild, totaling nine goals and 16 points in 65 games.
