Florida Panthers trade Josh Brown to Ottawa Senators for 4th round pick

Florida Panthers General Manager Bill Zito announced that the club has acquired a 2020 fourth-round draft pick (95th overall) from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for restricted free agent defenseman Josh Brown.

With the acquisition of this fourth-round draft pick, the Panthers now possess eight draft selections in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft on Oct. 6-7, including six in the first four rounds.

The Panthers selected Brown in the sixth round (152nd overall) of the 2013 draft.

Brown appeared in a total of 93 NHL games over two seasons with Cats and produced 4 goals and 6 assists to go along with a -2 and 67 PIM.
