Tuesday Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Open Forum

The visiting Vegas Golden Knights bounced back after allowing a late tying goal in regulation when center William Karlsson beat Martin Jones top shelf 8:17 into overtime to give the expansion franchise a 4-3 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Monday. Former Florida Panthers Jonathan Marchessault and Reilly Smith also scored goals for Vegas. Marchessault also set up two goals and Smith added a helper as well. Vegas took a two games to one lead in the series.

Brayden Point assisted on three goals and scored the empty-net clincher as the host Tampa Bay Lightning evened its series with the Boston Bruins at a game apiece with a 4-2 win on home ice. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 18 stops to post the win for the Bolts.
