Friday Offseason Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Open Forum

Florida Panthers prospect Rodrigo Abols drew an assist Orebro HK’s 4-3 overtime loss to Lulea HF in Thursday action from the Swedish Hockey League. Abols logged 18:27 TOI, dished out one hit and finished with a -2 rating. The 24-year-old has five goals and nine points in 12 games this season.

2020 second-rounder Emil Heineman logged 17:11 TOI and registered one shot on goal in Leksands IF 2-1 overtime loss to Linkoping HC. Heineman has one goal in 16 games for Leksands this season.

Vladislav Kolyachonok registered six shots on goal, a +1 rating and logged 20:27 of ice time in Dinamo Minsk’s 3-2 overtime win over Sochi in action from the KHL. Kolyachonok has three points (1G/2A) in 23 games for Dinamo this season.

In the NCAA, defenseman Tyler Inamoto and forward Owen Lindmark each went -1 in Wisconsin’s 5-2 loss to Michigan. Inamoto had two shots on goal, blocked a game-high seven shots and was called for a minor penalty. Lindmak won 6 of 12 faceoffs and blocked two shots.

Defenseman Cole Krygier registered two shots on goal and blocked a shot as Michigan State opened its season with a 1-1 overtime tie against Arizona State.
